Until further notice opening hours will be restricted to  12.00 midday – 10.30 pm.

 

Food is served in the Muddy Oar and on the balcony between 12 midday and 8.00 pm.

 

To observe the 2 metre social distancing,  the number of tables inside the Muddy Oar and on the balcony has been reduced.  Tables have been set up with this in mind so we ask that you do not move any tables from their current positions. All service in both the Muddy Oar and on the balcony will be table service - they will be unable to serve anyone at the bar.

HOW TO BOOK

We require anyone wanting to visit the Muddy Oar or outside dining space for drinks or meals to pre-book.  Bookings are for a maximum of 6 people. Tables are available to reserve in 1¼ hour slots (this gives us time to clean before the next slot). You can book for the following times:

• 12.00 midday

• 1.30 pm

• 3.00 pm

• 4.30 pm

• 6.00 pm

• 7.30 pm

• 9.00 pm

To reserve your table please call 01789 415802, option 2 (phones will be manned 12.00pm – 10.30pm)

When you phone you will be asked for your name, plot number or car registration number, contact phone number and the names of the people in your party. You will also be asked if you have experienced any symptoms of Coronavirus or been in contact with anyone who has had it in the last 7 days. These details will be kept on file for 21 days for reasons of disease tracking as detailed in the government guidelines.

 

HOW TO PAY

We will only be accepting payment by card and contactless payment would be even better if possible.

 

ONE WAY SYSTEM IN OPERATION

For everyone’s safety please follow the new one-way system. When you arrive please enter via the central staircase and follow round onto the balcony and into the Muddy Oar. The exit will be via the far fire escape and down the staircase back to the car park. Access to the toilets is also via a one-way system leaving the Muddy Oar bar via the internal door towards the kitchen and into the toilet corridor. On leaving the toilets everyone must turn left, through Galley Kitchen, to the balcony and back in the Muddy Oar balcony door. There will be no access to the Upper Deck (top floors) until further notice.

 

OUTSIDE AREAS

Our outdoor catering chalet by the riverbank will also be open 12 midday until 10.30 pm during fine weather. You may use the tables and chairs set up in the outside area but we ask that you remain inside the wooden posts and respect social distancing. There is no need to book to use this area. There will be limited snacks available from the chalet along with drinks and ice creams. Please queue sensibly and respect other people.

Please be aware that the balcony is now a designated no smoking area.
