Relax, chill, sit back, unwind and enjoy time out in your own private lodge by the River Avon as Daisy Lodge in Stratford upon Avon is the perfect luxury self catering lodge to book as a short break for couples.

Everybody loves the weekend but have you thought about all the advantages of a short break midweek? You still have the weekend to enjoy so you don’t have to rush back to work and there are so many reasons to have a midweek short break in Kingfisher Lodge or Daisy Lodge in Stratford upon Avon.

First, there is the price – did you know that you can stay four nights for the price of three Monday to Thursday? And everyone loves a bargain!

Short breaks for couples can be enjoyed midweek when children are in school and shops, restaurants and attractions are a bit quieter. As a quite getaway for couples this is a perfect place for that relaxing break.

Spend your week strolling along the river Avon or sit on your decking and watch the world go by. Stratford upon Avon is only one mile away and you will find restaurants for that romantic meal, beautiful gardens to enjoy, great pubs frequented by the actors of the Royal Shakespeare Company or why not take your own launch out on the river for a romantic cruise?

If you enjoy fishing you can enjoy free river fishing from the bank right by the lodge. Take a look at our special page for fishermen at www.daisylodge.co.uk/fishing-at-daisy-lodge

Theatre Lovers enjoy staying at Daisy Lodge in Stratford upon Avon as you can visit the world famous Royal Shakespeare Theatre. For 2021 the Royal Shakespeare Company will be performing at a specially built outdoor theatre in the Swan Gardens. Not to forget, of course, as the home of William Shakespeare there are all those fantastic Elizabethan houses and gardens to visit.

Daisy Lodge is also perfect for a short break with your pets. Stratford upon Avon is an amazingly dog friendly town with many cafes and restaurants welcoming your pets and providing water and the odd biscuit. Wonderful walks are to be had – with or without a four legged friend – at many local National Trust properties. Nearby, Charlecote Park and Coughton Court both have designated dog walks through woodland or along the river and both have cafes where your dog is welcome outside. The ideal pet friendly break.
